New Vegas is unarguably the better RPG and Fallout game, but I recommend starting with Fallout 3 because we already know one plot element in it (the Institute) will play a major role in Fallout 4. Like the other games in the series, Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas combine the best elements of the RPG and FPS genres. NVAC is a simple mod that reduces the chance that your game will crash. The issue is the game is unfinished in both a literal and figurative sense. Similarly, New Vegas is a very buggy game, even eight years later. Step 4: Mission Mojave.
